For the price I'm really impressed by the quality. This isn't one of those flimsy corsets that you get at a lingerie store. You can most definitely tight lace with this. It's great for beginners. I had a very expensive custom corset, unfortunately after years of tight lacing the top fastener snapped off. I wasn't in a financial position to purchase another, so I thought for now I'd try this. This one honestly fits me better than my ridiculously priced custom. Even though it was custom made the stomach area always stuck out like a pooch. This one laces and pulls in tight against me.

Exactly what I wanted. The people who are complaining about a gap either got the wrong size or don't know how to season a corset. It's constructed and sewn well. Can wear under clothes. Educate yourself and work slowly. You will have an amazing hourglass figure for an unbeatable price with this baby.
